Zack, the partier, the jokster, the dancer, the singer, many different things to many different
people. But the one thing he was to everyone he ever met, was a good friend.
When he first appears in the series, Zack is fourteen years old, and the doubter of the group.
He thinks the whole Power Ranger thing is a joke, and doesn't give a thought to accepting it. He's the first to leave the
command center, and doesn't even consider the options.
But eventually he gives in, although reluctantly. Probably in part because his best friend Jason
agreed, and Zack has a very strong team spirit. He becomes the black ranger, with the powers of the Mastadon.
Zack is a fun-loving, cheerful boy, with talents in dance, singing, and martial arts. He's loyal
and caring, and tries to take care of the others when he can. He and Jason had obviously been friends for a long time, and
they were very close. They did everything together and worked together very well.
When Tommy came into the picture as the evil green ranger, Zack surprisingly took the most offensive
position. His first reaction was anger at Tommy, and even when they found out he was under a spell, Zack made it clear they
should take him down anyway. Not a usual attitude for Zack, but nonetheless true.
Luckily they broke the spell over Tommy and he joined their team. Zack welcomed him readily
along with the others, and became fast friends with Tommy. He gave him relationship advice, though it wasn't needed, for Tommy
had much better luck than Zack.
Zack's love interest was Angela. She ignored him at first, then blew him off, but he kept insisting
and eventually she agreed to go out with him. Unfortunately every time they went anywhere something happened to ruin it all,
and it always reflected badly on Zack. But he never did give up. Although he couldn't explain most of what went wrong, he
always made it up to her. Angela didn't stay long, but in her last appearance she gave him a kiss on the cheek and things
looked bright for their new relationship.
Zack eventually left with Jason and Trini for Switzerland and the World Peace Summit, and never
returned.
